Cashful does not use ad networks, App Tracking Transparency tracking or third-party marketing SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Cashful App Privacy
Cashful's App Store privacy label is “Data Not Linked to You”, with no tracking. The data we collect comes from three features: receipt photos and voice text sent for AI recognition, subscription purchase history through RevenueCat, and anonymous usage statistics if you allow them. Your finance records stay on your devices and in your own iCloud, where ANApps cannot read them.
If your device uses iCloud, your records sync through your private iCloud container (Apple CloudKit), and shared Spaces use the same service. ANApps cannot read this data.
Shared notifications may show transaction details in previews, and widgets and Apple Watch faces can show balances, account names or recent spending.
You can disable notifications, stop sharing a Space, delete your data, turn usage statistics off, and decide when to export (Pro) or import files.

This page is a plain-language version of Cashful's App Store privacy label for the current version (1.3.0). The label is “Data Not Linked to You”: the data listed below is never linked to your identity and never used to track you.
2. Data on the privacy label
The label lists these data types under Data Not Linked to You:
- Photos or Videos (App Functionality): the receipt photo you choose to scan, sent for AI recognition and not stored on our server
- Other User Content (App Functionality): the text of a voice entry, with your category and account names, sent for AI recognition and not stored on our server
- Purchase History (App Functionality, Analytics): your Cashful Pro subscription status and App Store transactions, processed by RevenueCat
- Product Interaction and Device ID (Analytics, optional): anonymous usage statistics with a random ID, sent only if you allow them
Your finance records, Space names and CloudKit identifiers stay in your own iCloud and are not collected by ANApps.
3. What stays on your devices
Cashful stores your records on your iPhone or iPad, including analytics views, widget snapshots and app preferences. If you use the Apple Watch app, your iPhone sends it a summary directly (account names and balances, recent transactions and categories), which is kept on the watch.
4. When Apple cloud services are involved
If your device is signed in to iCloud, your records are stored in your private iCloud database through Apple CloudKit so they sync across your devices and, for shared Spaces, reach the people you invite. There is no separate Cashful account, and you can turn off iCloud for Cashful in iOS Settings.
5. Notifications, widgets and Apple Watch
Shared-space notifications may show the amount, category or account depending on your notification settings. Widgets on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch faces show the balance of the account you choose and read it from storage on the same device. On watchOS 26 a Smart Stack card can suggest logging an expense at a café or store; watchOS matches the place, and Cashful never receives your location.
6. Export and import
CSV export and import, the account report and the export for ChatGPT and other AI apps are Cashful Pro features you start yourself. Once a file is exported, what happens to it depends on the place or app you choose, such as Files, AirDrop, a spreadsheet app or an AI assistant.
7. AI voice input and receipt scanning
Voice input (in the app, with Siri or on Apple Watch) and receipt scanning are optional and run only when you use them. Apple turns your speech into text; Cashful never receives the audio. The app or the watch sends the text (or, for a receipt, the photo) with the app language, the names of your categories and accounts (and, from iPhone or iPad, subcategories) and a device identifier used only for rate limiting, to Cashful's server. The server passes it through OpenRouter to an AI model (currently Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite, with Gemini 2.5 Flash or Meta's Llama 3.1 8B, run by a provider OpenRouter selects, as backups) and returns the filled-in fields. Our server does not store the text or photo; balances and transaction history are never sent, and manual entry never uses AI. Full disclosure is in the Privacy Policy.
8. What this page does not describe
This summary does not cover ad-tech SDKs, ATT prompts, mobile attribution tools, ad monetization SDKs, or third-party marketing analytics, because Cashful uses none of them. The only analytics are Cashful's own optional usage statistics and subscription reports from RevenueCat, both described in the Privacy Policy. The App Store listing shows the official label.
