Cashful is not described as using ad networks, ATT-based tracking, or third-party marketing SDKs for profiling users across apps and websites.
Cashful App Privacy
Cashful is not a "data not collected" app if you use iCloud sync or shared Spaces. Core finance records can remain local on your device, but Apple CloudKit, shared notifications, widgets, and CSV workflows all matter for the privacy explanation of the shipped app.
When you enable iCloud sync or shared Spaces, Apple cloud services can process finance records so sync, sharing, and multi-device use can work.
Shared notifications may show transaction details in previews, and widgets can expose balances or account names on the Home Screen or Lock Screen.
You can disable notifications, stop sharing, delete data, and control CSV import and export through user-initiated actions and app settings.
1. App Store privacy summary
This page is the short public explanation of how Cashful privacy should be understood for users and App Review. The exact App Store Connect answers should always match the currently shipped build, but for the current product model Cashful should be described as using data for app functionality when iCloud sync or shared Spaces are enabled.
2. Data categories relevant to app functionality
Based on the app's current behavior, the following categories can be relevant to app functionality:
- Other Financial Info: accounts, balances, currencies, transactions, amounts, exchange rates, and related finance records
- Other User Content: shared Space names, notes, categories, and other content users create inside the app
- User ID: Apple or CloudKit-side identifiers required by Apple sync and sharing services
3. What can stay on device
Cashful can store finance records locally on your iPhone. That includes everyday records, analytics views, widget snapshots, and app preferences used to keep the app responsive and readable even before a cloud feature is involved.
4. When Apple cloud services are involved
If you enable iCloud sync or use shared Spaces, relevant records are stored through Apple CloudKit so data can sync across devices and be available to invited participants. Cashful does not require a separate developer account for this flow, but Apple ID and iCloud are part of it.
5. Notifications and widgets
Shared-space notifications may surface amount, category, or account information depending on notification settings. Widgets can display balances, account names, and quick-action entry points using local shared storage on the device.
6. CSV import and export
CSV export and import are user-initiated. Once a CSV file is exported, its further handling depends on the location or app you choose, such as Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or spreadsheet software.
7. What this page does not describe
This public summary does not describe ad-tech SDKs, ATT prompts, mobile attribution tools, crash monetization systems, or third-party marketing analytics. It also does not replace the exact privacy answers inside App Store Connect.
