Cashful can keep finance records local on your device and can also sync relevant records through Apple CloudKit when iCloud sync is enabled. There is no separate Cashful account, but Apple ID and iCloud are required for that sync flow.
How do shared Spaces work? Spaces let you share finance information with a partner or family member. Shared access is created through Apple sharing flows such as invite links, and invited participants can then see the shared records in that Space.
What can notifications show? If shared notifications are enabled, a notification can show finance details such as amount, category, or account information depending on your iOS notification settings and preview behavior.
What do widgets store or display? Cashful widgets show the current balance of the account you select. The Lock Screen widget is included with Free. Home Screen widgets across iPhone, iPad, and Mac are a Cashful Pro feature. To support widget display, the app keeps a local widget snapshot in shared app storage on your device.
How do CSV export and import work? CSV export and import are user-initiated. After you export, the file is handled by the storage location or destination you choose, such as Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or a spreadsheet app.
How can I change privacy-sensitive settings? You can disable notifications in iOS settings, stop using shared Spaces, disconnect a shared relationship, delete local data, or export records before removal. The public summary is on the Privacy Choices page.
How much does Cashful Pro cost? Cashful Pro is $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial on both plans. Pro unlocks full analytics, CSV import and export, shared Spaces, AI receipt text recognition, Back Tap quick-add, and unlimited accounts and currencies.
How do I cancel my Cashful Pro subscription? Open Settings on iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Cashful Pro to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; Pro features remain available until then.
How do I restore a previous purchase? Open the Cashful paywall or the Pro section in Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Cashful uses your Apple ID via RevenueCat to recognize an active subscription.
Can I get a refund? Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple. Submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com with your purchase details.
How does AI receipt scanning work? Cashful Pro lets you scan a receipt: the photo is sent to Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite API, which returns the extracted text. Cashful parses the amount and category into the new-expense form on your device. Only the chosen photo is sent — no other Cashful data leaves the device for this feature.
